  • The award winning IBEX Transeat is a favourite amongst ambulance paramedics and passenger handling personnel for its amazing ability to climb stairs with only 20% effort on the part of each operator. The tracking system has an adjustable braking system, enabling the IBEX Transeat to descend the steepest of stairs in all weather conditions.

  • The ParEnsi EASI-LITE is at the leading edge of safe patient transport technology.   • The RollaChair; a patient transport chair for the 21st century made of moulded ABS on a metal chassis it is ergonomic, hygienic, space saving and designed to make transportation easier for caregivers.
  • The Motorised Patient Transfer Trolley not only assists in transportation using battery powered driving wheels, but is extremely maneuverable and provides an easy solution to patient transfer without lifting or carrying. This is facilitated by a new cross-over top bed which locks onto its receiving trolley in one simple movement. The motorised patient transfer trolley locks onto the patient's manual trolley, slides the section with the patient over and becomes a mobile electric trolley for moving the patients around hospital departments.
  • The Motorised Bariatric Trolley's heavy duty construction and motorised functions enables clinically obese patients to be moved around hospital environs safely, effectively, without strain and with full control.

Latest Developments: Infant Transport Systems

In 2006, Paraid launched its revolutionary newborn baby transport system; its neo range provides an intelligent, protective and supportive environment for infants in neo-natal transportation by land and air ambulance.

  • The neo-capsul® has a lightweight aluminium space frame which encases the neo-restraint® in a double-skinned acrylic 'bread-bin' design and allows medical teams easy access to the infant for monitoring and treatment during the journey. This original shape provides stability and enables sound levels within the chamber to be reduced significantly, decreasing potential distress of the baby.
  • The neo-restraint® is a washable dual density foam wedge design which can be configured in any position along the mattress. Cotton straps, secured with hook and loop, pass over each pair of foam wedges resulting in a soft, yet rigid structure that reduces the potentially harmful effects of vibration. Neo-restraint® can be retro-fitted to the majority of transport incubators and trolleys currently in use internationally.
  • Warmth is provided by the neo-therm® mattress and portable regulator. An innovative conductive -heat mattress with unparallel heat distribution and warm-up time, it is an ideal choice for clinicians, paediatricians and support staff.
