Designed with safety and efficiency in mind, Microflow advanced biological safety cabinets offer user-friendly features and dependable control systems. All units are tested to BS5726 and BS EN 12469. The ergonomically-designed sloping front increases the working space and integral lighting ensures full illumination of the working area.
The cabinets are straightforward to maintain and can be serviced from the front, the HEPA filters are 99.999% efficient for particulate larger than 0-3µm. Each unit has a micro-processor controlled membrane keypad that is simple to operate and clearly displays the cabinet status at all times, with audible and visual alarms for all critical safety parameters.
The Microflow Class I Advanced Biological Safety (ABS) Cabinet offers operator protection and a unique sliding / hinged door for uninterrupted access. The Class I also has a 100% seal for fumigation so no closing panel is needed. The cabinet comes either ducted or recirculating depending on the clients requirements and is suitable for work with pathogens up to category 3. It is also available with hydrogen peroxide connections.
The Microflow Class II ABS cabinet offers complete operator and product protection with all of the benefits of the Class I – the door, seal and exhaust options are all the same across the Microflow ABS range. The Class II has also been uniquely designed and pre-configured for hydrogen peroxide vapour decontamination.
The Microflow Class III ABS is a dual-purpose Class I or Class III ducted cabinet with operator protection in Class I mode and operator and product protection in class III mode. It has a transfer hatch and glove port panel with safe change glove and cuff assembly. It also has an inlet HEPA filter to avoid material contamination and is suitable for work with pathogens up to category 4. The Class III is also available with hydrogen peroxide connections.
