Intersurgical's have developed a new range of colour coded anasesthetic face masks called EcoMask™ and One-Piece™ Guedel Airways.
EcoMask™ is Intersurgical's innovative range of single use non-pvc anatomical anaesthetic facemasks that are lightweight and clearer versions of the reliable rubber facemasks. This range has been enhanced by introducing non-slip rings around the full circumference of the mask shell to allow more grip, enabling a gentle but firm, downward pressure to facilitate the seal with the patient. The colour coding has been introduced on the mask seal which corresponds with the mask size to allow easy selection. Coloured EcoMasks are available in 7 sizes, size 0 to 6.

Intersurgical's range of Guedel Airways have also been modified with the utilisation of the latest manufacturing technology to produce the first major breakthrough in Guedel Airway design for thirty years. Intersurgical have combined two materials with very different physical characteristics in one moulding, this has resulted in the elimination of the separate bite block found in all conventional Guedel Airway designs.
Loose, or detached bite blocks constitute a real threat to patient safety and have been the subject of several Hazard Notices in the recent past. The new One-Piece overcomes all risks associated with separate bite blocks. As well as improved safety the One-Piece design also incorporates a soft atraumatic tip. This new One-Piece design is available in eight colour-coded ISO sizes ranging from 3.5 to 12.
