For the second consecutive year Remploy Healthcare has been presented with the top accolade in the Mobility category of the 2006 British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) Excellence Awards.
Following its success at the 2005 event, the company once again beat off strong competition from three other nominees to win the prestigious award that is voted for by a cross section of health professionals including clinicians, therapists, consultants and buyers.
Sponsored by Assistive Technologies magazine, the prestigious annual event recognises companies that have demonstrated consistently high levels of customer service and product innovation in the fields of mobility, rehabilitation, prosthetics and orthotics. Remploy Healthcare, which is currently the largest supplier of manual wheelchairs to the NHS, was praised for its positive contribution to improving standards within the mobility sector.
