Vindon's unique plant growth chamber, ref 8194, has been designed and developed to provide a cost effective, entry level facility that can be easily upgraded on site by the user.

Vindon's Plant Growth Chamber is designed so that the whole lighting system complete with integral cooling and programming switches, can be removed and replaced with an alternative system based on different types of lamps.

Lighting systems include: Fluorescent, Tungsten, Metal Halide, High Pressure Sodium, or any combination of these. Chamber cooling is based on an indirect, CFC free refrigeration system that is both energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The growth height is a full metre and split shelves allow different sized plants to be grown concurrently.

The outer cabinet is manufactured from corrosion inhibited mild steel finished with a hardwearing epoxy, the working chamber is fabricated from high quality polished stainless steel. Double doors allow full access to the working chamber.

A powerful fan is located in the side duct of the working chamber to recirculate the internal atmosphere. Twin digital temperature controllers provide control accuracy of +/-0.25 deg C. Chamber cooling is based upon an "indirect" refrigeration system. Twin digital humidity controllers provide a control accuracy of +/- 3%RH. Day and night conditions are established using a four channel digital clock.
