The Corning® CellSTACK™ Culture Chambers are viable solutions for the problem of growing large amounts of anchorage dependent cells.
Available with up to 25,440 cm2 cell growth area, the largest multilayer chambers can easily produce over 2.5 x 109 cells. CellSTACK™ Chambers are available with either the standard cell culture surface or the new Corning CellBIND™ surface for enhanced cell attachment and higher cell yields.
Products in the range also features motor stall detection and automatic re-start. The standard model also features a ‘reversing’ mode for reduced splashing and aeration.

CellSTACK™ Chambers have two 26 mm diameter filling ports that allow direct access to the chamber bottom and offer greater flexibility for aseptically filling and removing medium and cells. This innovative design also provides faster equilibration across each layer.
Standard 33 mm self-venting caps have 0.2 µm pore hydrophobic membranes that allow sterile gas exchange and prevent pressure build up during transport. Optional filling caps with 1/8" or 3/8" tubing for direct aseptic transfer of media, solutions or cells via pumping or gravity feed are also available.
These Chambers are easily adapted to automated handling and liquid transfer using optional CellSTACK™ manipulators.
CellSTACK™ chambers are constructed of durable USP Class VI polystyrene which provides excellent optical clarity and mechanical strength.
Chambers are manufactured using procedures that are designed to reduce particulate contamination resulting in an exceptionally clean product. Chambers are certified nonpyrogenic and sterilized by gamma radiation.
